Rustic Wall Panels
Four series. Each takes its name from a part of the Black Sea houses the wood came from.
Every panel is made to measure and laid by hand. No two walls from the same series are ever alike, because each time we work with boards from a different house.
Texture
Göz Dolma
Named after the Black Sea building technique in which craftsmen filled the openings of a timber frame with stone.
Square blocks cut to different thicknesses form a raised chequerboard. The tone of each square depends on the history of the board it came from. When light rakes across it, the wall gains depth, and by evening it looks entirely different.

Serender
Named after the decorative bands on serenders, the wooden granaries of the Black Sea that stand raised on stilts.
Grey, sun-weathered diamonds sit between warm-toned boards. A horizontal band with zigzag ends; on a wide headboard it reads as a single piece of art.

Çantı
Named after the Black Sea technique of stacking logs and locking them with notched joints at the corners.
Long, straight-cut boards are laid staggered in a brick pattern. Nail holes, knots and colour variations stay just as they are. The calmest of our series: it brings warmth to a simple living room and holds together a room full of plants.

Göbek
A nod to the carved wooden ceiling centrepieces of old mansions.
Angle-cut boards meet at a centre to form stars, with a small dark knot where they join. Repeating like a carpet across wide walls, this is the pattern that demands the most craftsmanship.
