Rustic Wall Panels

Every panel is made to measure and laid by hand. No two walls from the same series are ever alike, because each time we work with boards from a different house. Six series, six patterns. Each is named after a village around our workshop.

Adatepe

After Adatepe, a village of stone houses on the slopes of Mount Ida.

Square blocks cut to different thicknesses form a raised chequerboard. The tone of each square depends on the history of the board it came from. Where the light falls, the wall gains depth; it looks entirely different in the morning and in the evening.

Frequently asked

Before you order

Where does the wood come from?

From old wooden houses in Turkey's Black Sea region whose owners have decided to demolish them. We take the boards down by hand and bring them to our workshop in Ayvacık. Most of it is Scots pine, with some oak and chestnut.

Will insects get into it?

The sap and starch that draw insects to wood left these boards years ago, so they resist insects far better than new timber.

Will it crack or warp over time?

The movement that comes with drying (cracking, warping, twisting) ran its course during the house's long life. On your wall, it won't move the way new wood does.

How long does it take?

If the series you choose isn't in stock, it's ready in about 5 working days.

Do you install?

Our own team installs smaller projects in Edremit, Ayvacık and Çanakkale, and larger ones in İzmir, Bursa, İstanbul and Bodrum. Elsewhere, panels are delivered.

Do you ship to other cities?

Yes. Panels are packed in boxes and delivered to your building's door by a logistics company.

How much does it cost?

The price depends on the series, the size and installation. Send us your wall measurements on or through the quote form and we'll price it the same day.

Can I get a sample?

Yes, you can request a sample of the series you choose; we'll talk through the details together.

Do you make custom sizes or other applications?

Each series' size is listed above. For custom sizes and applications, get in touch.
